In the majority of department stores and clothing stores, there are sections intended for different people. For instance, in the mens section is where a man will find pants, in the womens section women can find blouses, in the boys section boys can find shorts, and in the girls section girls will find girls t shirts. Here is a little info on the clothes that are in each section.
Ties and other clothing for men can be located in their section. This department is typically split up into two sections, one for casual attire, like jeans, t-shirts, and shorts, and the other for formal attire such as jackets, pants, suits, and other work related and professional clothes.
There are lots of things for women in their department. In addition to clothes, there is jewelry there too sometimes. Women can find pants, blouses, skirts, dresses, belts, and many other accessories there. The clothing sizes are numerical sometimes, like the smallest sizes being a two and zero, the standard smalls being a six or four, the mediums being an average of eight, and the larger sizes being the higher numbers.
Younger women can often be found shopping in the juniors section. Women that are fourteen to twenty five shop there in regard to age range. The sizes in this department usually stick to the standard small, medium, large, and anything above.
Casual clothing for boys is what is found in their department. This one has school appropriate clothes in it typically. You probably will see mothers in this section shopping for clothes for their sons.
Shirts for girls come in the trendiest styles in their department. Each season there are new styles added to match the current trend and popular colors. For example, when the weather starts getting a little warmer, you will find a lot of cotton tops that are lightweight in the current vibrant colors for the season. When the weather is colder, tops are usually found in more muted colors that are thicker.
Other than the current season trends, girls shirts also feature the latest pop culture icons on them. If a cartoon character, movie, or TV show gets really popular, their logo, name, phrases, and image are put onto the clothing design. In this department, wholesome, family friendly ones will be there.

Wouldn’t it be great if we could all afford to live in a penthouse with floor to ceiling windows that looked out over the New York skyline or a tropical reef. It never hurts to dream, but if you’re a student or a worker who is still struggling to make ends meet, you’ve got to make do with what you have. With a little imaginative flair, you can live comfortably even on a tight budget.
The biggest problem with studio apartments is where to put your bed and your workspace. You only need your bed for sleeping, but you have to walk around it every time you come into the room. You only need your desk for studying or working, but it seems to take up all the remaining space in the room. A loft bed with desk gives your living room living space.
With those out of the way, you are likely to find that your living area is really quite spacious. Indulge in a nice comfy easy chair and a couple of comfortable chairs or a couch for entertaining. After that, take a look at how to improve your kitchen. Start by checking out some rice cookers.
Studio apartments have notoriously tiny kitchens. A good way to make the most of a small kitchen is with practical kitchen appliances, such as a Sanyo rice cooker. Usually, you’ll only have a two burner stove, so if you’re making rice, that leaves only one burner for cooking the rest of the meal. Your rice maker gives you back your cooktop and can be stored away after use.
Do you really need a dining table? If you’re like most of people, you probably like to eat in your easy chair. Get yourself a nice big coffee table instead of a dining table and do your entertaining in comfort.
What else can you do to perk up your apartment? There’s nothing like a fresh coat of paint to brighten up a room. Choose light colors for a feeling of extra spaciousness. Then hang some photographs, posters and art on the walls. The reason why so many hotel rooms choose landscape paintings is because they make the room feel so much larger. A big travel poster can have the same effect.
These few ideas should give you an idea of how you can live well on a budget. Don’t let things get you down. Keep an upbeat attitude and some creative sparks flying and you’ll find that you don’t need a penthouse to stay happy.
How To Understand Feedback And Use It Effectively

Executive coach and author Marshall Goldsmith wrote, “Feedback is a gift that only other can give.” What makes it so difficult for so many of us to give and receive feedback if that is the case?
A lot of it has to do with power. If we give feedback to someone, our motive may actually be to control them. And our reluctance to accepting feedback is probably a resistance to change.
It can be very useful to clarify the reason for giving feedback before doling it out. Here are five different types of feedback and suggestions for each.
Evaluation Feedback: This is the feedback type that is found the most in the workplace.But is also the kind that doesn’t help very much. Evaluation feedback comes at the end. The end of the performance year. After a week-long class is over. Once a project has been completed. True, we all need to be willing to rate ourselves, and the evaluation feedback will improve our performance next time. But why not give and get feedback when we can learn from it real time?
Real-Time Performance Feedback: This type of feedback generally comes from a boss or someone whose own success depends on you. While it may be couched as an observation or something for you to think about, when someone shares performance feedback, they intend for you to change your behavior.
When you feel that you are receiving performance feedback from someone, it is helpful to be direct and clear. Try asking, “what exactly would you like me to stop or start doing?” And once you hear what they have to say, be willing to change!
Fine-Tuning: Fine-tuning feedback generally comes from people who are satisfied with the overall job you are doing, but see some areas you could tweak to get even better. One of the best examples I can give of fine-tuning feedback came from someone who participated in a course I gave. She told me she enjoyed my course and then asked if she could share some feedback. She shared that when I nodded my head while listening to people in the audience, it made her feel as though I was rushing. WOW! I had no idea that my head nodding was having this effect on the audience, so her feedback blew me away.
The key to giving fine-tuning feedback is to share the impact a behavior has on you or others. The person giving the feedback is not necessarily interested in controlling you, or even changing you. The person receiving the feedback has the chance to decide whether to change or not change, the person giving the feedback is merely sharing how they are impacted.
Feed-Forward: Goldsmith came up with this one years ago. It means giving someone suggestions in advance about how to behave rather than waiting for them to fail and beating them up afterward. For example, my husband had a presentation to give to the executive leadership committee at work, which was the first time he ever did anything like that. His boss coached him in advance as to the proper way to dress, when he would be expected to speak, and even how detailed to make his presentation.
Slap Upside the Head: Two years ago, a colleague who is also a great friend sat me down and said, “You are making yourself and others miserable. What’s the deal?”
This is the kind of feedback that only great friends can give. It consists of observations about you, that people share with you because they care about you. In his book, Who’s Got Your Back, Keith Ferrazzi gives some great examples of this feedback along with the assertion that we all desperately need people in our lives who care enough to give it.
The person who gives slap upside the head feedback isn’t trying to control you or change you for their sake. They speak up because they know where you want to be and see that you are getting in your own way.
Summary
If you are giving feedback: think through what you want to achieve and give feedback that is appropriate.Remember that if you are not in a position of authority, evaluation feedback is not appropriate. You can lead a horse to water . . .
Feedback Receivers: We all suffer from a lack of self-awareness at times and feedback is the only way we can learn what our blind spots are. Even if you ultimately disagree with the feedback, accept it as a gift from the person giving it. If it’s evaluation or performance feedback, you have a chance to change in order to do better in the eyes of others. If it’s fine-tuning or slap upside the head feedback, you have the choice to change or not.

Debate On Domestic Terrorism Fueled By Oklahoma City Bombing

The deadliest domestic terrorist attack in U.S. history was the Oklahoma City bombing of the Alfred P. Murrah Federal Building in downtown Oklahoma City, which killed about 168 people 15 years ago. Similar disturbing parallels can be seen in today’s political climate and national mood as we reflect upon the Oklahoma City bombing. Signs are everywhere – violent anti-government rhetoric from right-wing extremists and Republican politicians, the shootings at Fort Hood last fall, the suicide crash of a small plane into an IRS building in February and more – showing that domestic terrorism is on the rise.

For the National Day of Service and Remembrance for Victims and Survivors of Terrorism, President Barack Obama has chosen the 15th anniversary of the Oklahoma City bombing to signify the motion. Last Friday he issued a proclamation with these opening remarks:
“There is no greater evil than willful violence against innocents. On this National Day of Service and Remembrance for Victims and Survivors of Terrorism, we pause to remember victims of terrorism at home and abroad, we honor the heroes who have supported them, and we redouble our efforts to build the kind of world that is worthy of their legacy.”
Oklahoma City bombing underlines domestic terrorism
As we remember the Oklahoma City bombing victims of 15 years ago, today’s brewing atmosphere of intolerance is piercingly brought to mind. Fringe conservatives like Minnesota congresswoman Michelle Bachman and right-wing Sarah Palin play on the ignorance of anti-government extremists to draw attention to themselves. Entertainers like Glenn Beck and Rush Limbaugh manipulate the paranoia of a declining demographic of aging undereducated white males for their own personal gain. Whether now or later, there’s a good chance that a delusional psychopath will one day look to Oklahoma City bomber Timothy McVeigh as a hero and opt to follow in his footsteps.
Oklahoma City bombing highlights threat
The Oklahoma City Bombing took place back when Bill Clinton was President. Clinton, in an editorial in Monday’s New York Times, said:
” … we must all assume responsibility for our words and actions before they enter a vast echo chamber and reach those both serious and delirious, connected and unhinged. … In the current climate, with so many threats against the president, members of Congress and other public servants, we owe it to the victims of Oklahoma City, and those who survived and responded so bravely, not to cross [the line] again.”
Encouraging domestic terrorism
For most reasonable people, this is a type of message to take to heart. Then we have people like Bachman, who appear to have no clue of what is senseless, particularly on a day when America remembers a domestic terrorist act that killed more than 150 people and left 200 children with parents who can provide only little or no care at all for them.
Remarks made by Bachman at a Tea Party rally in Washington were cited by Clinton in his Monday New York Times editorial, particularly for the comments she made about the Obama administration and Democratic Congress to which she refers to as “the gangster government.”
“They are not gangsters,” Mr. Clinton said. “They were elected. They are not doing anything they were not elected to do.” Responding to Clinton’s editorial, Bachman said:
“Because I’m using a statement like ‘gangster,’ I’m responsible for creating the climate of hate that could lead to another Timothy McVeigh and another Oklahoma City bombing. I’m in my second term as a Congresswoman, and the former president of the United States decides I’m important enough to take me out!”
Tea Partiers – supporting domestic terrorism?
Marking an increase from the foreign-focused fears triggered by 9/11, nearly 40 percent of Americans today now believe domestic terrorism is a bigger threat than international terrorism, according to a poll conducted by CBS News. The Nation’s Gregory Mitchell meanwhile noted, “On McVeigh day, it’s worth remembering that the NYT/CBS poll found 1 in 4 tea partiers saying violence against gov’t can be justified.” According to the CBS poll, twenty-four percent of self-indentified Tea Party members answered yes when asked, “Do you think it is ever justified for citizens to take violent action against the government?”
Fifteen years ago one lunatic with a homemade bomb killed 168 people and left more than 600 survivors scarred for life. Maybe entertainers and politicians will think twice about posing as faux revolutionaries with the 15th anniversary of the Oklahoma City bombing in mind – but let’s not count on it.
Coming Up With Well Designed Kids’ Rooms

If you want to come up with a well designed kid’s room, start with how to combine function and style. You also want to consider longevity in order to truly develop a long term room that you can work with over the years. It doesn’t matter if you’re looking to put a room together for a little child or an older child, the principles remain the same.
A full loft bed can give your child the adaptability of an open floor while offering them the private space they prefer. For young children it’s like having their own elevated fort. For older children it’s like having a private area all their own. They can find a lot of special comfort in having that special space. Besides, most kids think it’s cool to have a bed like this.
If you’re trying to design a small room, you’ll have a lot more flexibility with the floor plan. Just because the bed is elevated don’t mistakenly believe that the bedding collection isn’t important. You can offer them a great bed with lots of personality that matches your tastes as well.
Is there any real reason to add things like home decor accents to a child’s room? Yes. When you use accent pieces you are able to easily update the room over time. Aside from that, you’ll be allowing your child a bit of his or her personal expression on the walls and bookshelves.
Just like your first apartment, a child’s room offers them all of the necessities in life. They want to have someplace special of their own to retreat to and to use as their own personal sanctuary. You want to help them make it their own and create a space that inspires their own creativity.
Over time you’re going to want to make simple but effective improvements. It doesn’t have to be difficult to do this, especially if you’ve given thought to the potential for improvements when you first designed the room. Making small adjustments over time is much less expensive and much easier when you have developed a well laid room.
Make sure there is good lighting and that the room reflects your child. Simply by allowing them to choose things like color schemes you give them necessary input into the process that will help them claim the space for their own needs. It’s like offering them their own chance to help out with the interior design.
Soccer Field Diagram : A Guide To Soccer Formations And Positions

When a soccer field diagram is used to teach the kids soccer formations and various positions, the job of planning and execution becomes very simple. When your kids are young, somewhere between 4 to 6 years of age, what works best is to have them play in small sided soccer like a 3 v 3 or a 4 v 4 not including the goalies.
As the kids grow, you can make them play a 5 v 5 with a goalie. This has tremendous benefits. As a result, kids have a lot of fun, make maximum contacts with the ball, and learn the ideas better.
At this tender age, the kids are just about learning to control and pass the ball. Also start training them on different soccer positions and formations. It’s the right time to allot to the players, roles of defenders and forwards. You must also make it a point that they reach their positions to the greatest degree.
With time, the number of players will someday increase with the size of the soccer field. It would then get a bit difficult to make formations. Even then the players must be designated at various positions and see that they are performing sincerely from these positions.
Once you’ve selected the formations, talk about these with your players. Explain to the players why one player is preferred for a specific position in comparison to another and also the theory that follows it. This is where the soccer field diagram helps the most. Kids are in a better position to learn by viewing visual depictions. Also, there are players who learn better on field by way of observing to while performing drills or by going through the written text.
There are a few rules and soccer tactics that are a part of every soccer position, like defenders, midfielders, and forwards. These guidelines form the basis of a 2-2-2 formation in a 7 v 7 game. These guidelines are general in nature and you must modify them a little to suit your style, plan, and approach.
As an example, you may decide on 3 midfielders instead of 2. You may use your center midfielder to attack furiously on offence or require that he marks the opponent midfielders on defense. You may want your wing defenders to take all throw-ins. There can a lot of changes.
Apart from the diagram, it is nice to put your thoughts on a piece of paper. This gives the players something to read time and again which ultimately helps them in understanding things better. The parents can also read it and understand what your goals for the team are.
To teach soccer positions, apply extensive use of field diagrams irrespective of what you’ve selected to in addition. This can help you save on a lot of time and energy required to explain formations and is therefore a great mechanism.

Would You Rather See Your Employees In A T-shirt Or Shirt?

There are a lot of people out there that just have the idea that all of the people working for them should always be wearing suits but is this really needed or are they taking things too far??
Well the great thing for me is that I am in the office as we speak and at the moment I am sitting at my desk in a t-shirt and a pair of shorts, am I not doing my job in the right way, well I am doing it better cause I am relaxed in my everyday clothes. the fact is that many bosses will insist on an employee actually wearing a suit because they feel that it increases the company image but if a customer walked in on a hot summers day and saw everyone sweating all over the place I am pretty sure they would prefer seeing me and my colleagues in t-shirts and shorts.
One of the things that we do here is to actually mix the two ideas together. If you are in an important meeting with a customer then you are expected to dress up a little purely out of respect and professionalism but if you are not then who cares?? This should be true for a lot of office based companies whether you have serviced offices Londonor serviced offices Victoria.
Unless you really need all of your employees to be in a certain form of dress code I see no point in doing it at all so why bother?. You wouldn’t know works in a store and who doesn’t if there wasn’t uniform in place but for an office I really cannot see a problem with people working in London serviced officesto be wearing what they want.
So there you have it really, in the end it is up to the person who owns the company I just feel that it relaxes people a lot more which is always good.
